Review: Ready Player One

Book: Ready Player One
Author: Ernest Cline
Setup: Chock full of 80s pop culture references, this action book is set in a dystopian future where people log in to escape troubles outside. One boy’s life is changed through the announcement of a quest to become heir to the owner’s outrageous fortune.
Thoughts: Beginning runs a little clunky trying to set up, but the pay off is well worth it. You will also learn more than you though possible about every aspect of the 80s youth pop culture experience.
