Book Review: The Confession

Book: The Confession

Author: John Grisham

Setup: An innocent man is facing his final week on death row when a man claiming to be the actual perpetrator comes forward. Will this revelation be able to save the innocent man before his sentence is carried out?

Thoughts: This felt like a passion project book, which can always go one of two ways. Luckily, John Grisham is a good enough writer that the story breezes, but all the facts and preaching make the story a little clunky. Still the topic of judicial review and capital punishment is important  and deserving of discussion.

Review: 📚📚📚/5
